G.A. Suite enables you to download backup content as compressed files, allowing you to store backed-up data locally.
Projects can be downloaded in bulk or individually, depending on your needs. G.A. Suite supports both batch and single project downloads.
These files are formatted for compatibility with FluentPro FluentBooks (a separate FluentPro tool):
*.fpp for Project Plans
*.fbwx2 for other data types
For detailed steps on downloading projects in .fpp format, please see: Downloading Backup contents in FluentBooks format.
In some cases, you may need to extract individual .mpp (Microsoft Project) files from the .fpp package to access or use the project data directly (without using FluentBooks). This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to extract .mpp files from the .fpp files downloaded from the Backup Summary in G.A. Suite.
The .fpp files are standard ZIP archives, so you can extract them using any archive manager that supports ZIP files. However, we recommend using 7-Zip, a free and reliable tool. You can download it from the official website: https://www.7-zip.org.
Once installed, simply right-click the .fpp file and select "7-Zip > Extract Here" from the context menu.
As a result, you will get an .mpp file that can be opened with Microsoft Project.
