    Users are not migrated but mapped with the target users. Necessary users should already exist in the target tenant.

    Plan task user assignments

    Mapped users, assigned to tasks in the source Plan, will be added as members to the corresponding target Board and assigned to Board items

    Microsoft 365 Groups

    Workspaces

    Target Workspaces can be created with the source Microsoft 365 group names only for the selected Plans

    All source group members (for the selected Plans) will be added to the target Board Members if the corresponding users exist in the target system and are mapped.

    Microsoft 365 Group Owners

    All source group owners (for the selected Plans) will be added to the target Board Owners if the corresponding users exist in the target system, have the Member or the Admin role and are mapped.

    Last Updated time would be set to the time when the migration was performed, and an item was updated.


    During the migration, the target item fields will be created in new Boards with the names and types specified in the task field mapping (‘Target Item Field’ column of the table).
