Setup account requirements
| Account type | Requirements | 
| SQL Server access account | SQL Server securityadmin and dbcreator privileges are required to create SQL databases to allow EPM Pulse On-Premises Edition to work correctly. | 
| Setup Account | Local Administrator privileges are required to setup IIS site and Windows service for EPM Pulse. Also SQL Server Administrative privileges (sysadmin) are required. | 
| Project Online Instance access account 1 | Site Collection Administrator privilege is required to register online app. Note: Online app is required to allow EPM Pulse service to get data from Project Online Instance. | 
| Project Server 2013/2016 Instance access account 2 | Site Collection Administrator with administrative permissions at PWA (administrators for PWA group). | 
| SQL Server access account 2 | SQL Server account with reader access to ProjectWebApp database (can be SQL Server account or Windows). | 
| EPM Pulse Administrator | Global EPM Pulse Admin account – windows or basic account. | 
Service account requirements
| Account type | Requirements | 
| IIS application pool account | Must be a valid domain user account. Should be member of IIS_IUSRS local group on the Web role servers. Should have access to the Database. | 
| JobProcessor service account | Must be a valid domain user account. |
