In this article, we will review subscription plans for Project Story for Planner Premium and Report Generation Limits.
Project Story licensing model is based on a monthly subscription with a defined number of report generations, which can be monitored and managed from the Subscription Management page.

New tenants receive a 2-week trial and 200 report generations.
After that, the plan must be switched to a paid one: $50 per month, which includes 500 report generations. This can be done on the Manage Subscription page by clicking the Upgrade Plan button.

Next, click Proceed to Checkout and follow the steps to complete your purchase.

Each full report generation consumes one generation unit (including manual generation, daily report regeneration for the active projects where Project Story was activated, report export to PDF, and scheduled distribution).
All Project Story users can view existing reports for plans they have access to. However, report-generation permissions are more restrictive: only a Planner Premium Plan Owner can generate a report for that plan.
If the monthly generation limit is exceeded:
Email notifications are sent when report regeneration limits are reached.
If the included 500 regenerations are fully used, additional regenerations are billed based on actual usage ($0.20 / per generation). A charge is triggered only when the accumulated amount reaches $50. At that point, the system processes a payment for the accumulated amount.
If the accumulated overage does not reach $50 before the end of the billing cycle, the remaining overage amount is included in the regular monthly renewal invoice. You will be charged for the actual additional usage, together with the subscription renewal.
